Change" is an acrylic poured paint work on canvas. The blending of colors and similar hues reminds me of the body of Christ blending together to form the Church of the living God. Rather than vibrant defining lines and distinction of colors between colors, I see this work as an example of the people of God coming together, each with our own uniqueness to blend and become a harmonious picture of His church. We each still maintain our individuality, but are changed and become one delightful flow without abrasions, conflicts, pride, self, and afflictions forming a precious picture to God of His beloved children. The picture depicts the change in us strengthened as we become one like a hurricane than moves from being a category 1 to 5, viewed as not in itself being destructive but a powerful force to be reckoned with
having Christ as our center, the all seeing eye. It is in that center that I see our peace and tranquility that is within us that takes us through those storms of life as we are changed to become one. "In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed."
1 Corinthians 15:52 (KJ)
